I put in a $69 bid at Name Jet for this site, Anna Faris. Two other bidders did the same after me. Yesterday was the end of the auction and the other 2 bidders were no where to be found. So I am now the owner of this site and I have just loaded up WordPress on it to kick it off.
I am excited about this site for several reasons. It was ranked number 3 in Google for the keywords Anna Faris. Unfortunately the site was taken offline about a week ago and Google dropped it from its index. In the past I was able to hold the positions of expiring domains without them ever being dropped. I really hope I can get this one back into Google soon and rank on the first page. I am a little skeptic on this one. Gtrends show those keywords getting about 3,000 hits per day for the number 1 spot in Google. The Adwords keyword tool shows 110,000 exact searches per month. That is about 3,666 searches per day. I would love to just capture a fraction of this traffic. Who am I kidding I want it all. LOL.
So I think this domain name was a steal for $69 and I just have my fingers crossed that I can get it back into Google and ranking well again soon.

Well it is ranking now but on the second page. Looks like I will need to do a little optimization and maybe link building to get back on the first page.
LOL… I probably could have done better if I didn’t spell her name wrong about 4 times in the content! Geez… I guess I do need more sleep after all. I corrected this… but I am ranking 4th in Google for the misspelled name of Anna Farris. Probably not for long since I made all the corrections though.
After fixing my spelling mistakes I am now at #3 for Anna Faris! Pretty cool… I can’t wait to see how much traffic I get today from this. I will also be applying SEOPressor later tonight to try and get the #1 or #2 spot. Might be hard though because they are held by major sites.
