Still Playing With Keyword Research

ok… so I might be addicted to keyword research :)

I just love trying to find keywords with a high search volume but low competition. I have no idea if I am any good at it yet though ;)

I guess time will tell and I am sure I will have to get some backlinks to my sites. I might look into an article writer as well. Any one have any good experiences with an article writing service that you would want to recommend?

Today I found Sweater Drying Rack. It is showing 4,400 searches a month with only 2,230 exact search results. I think I could rank first page on that one with a little work. It looks like it drops down to about 1,000 or so searches during the summer though. Adsense ads run about .79 for those keywords according to my new tool that I am testing out. This new theme I am using is looking pretty nice. I like to put adsense in the left sidebar and amazon in the right sidebar. Then I am trying to put together some content in the middle with some eBay ads mixed in. I wanted to give a site with multiple affiliate offers like this a go and see what kind of results I get.

I also want to say that I think the biggest factor in my earnings going from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars is when I made the move to wordpress. If you are making sites and not making the money you want give worpress a try. It is a little bit of a learning curve but it is worth it. I get more traffic to my wordpress blogs then I ever did to any of my non-wordpress sites. Also my sites with wordpress don’t seem to get dropped out of  G as quickly… Knock on some wood… I don’t think I had any of my wordpress blogs dropped yet at all. I have not went back and checked them all though.

Old faithful, LIMA! Love the theme! I use it almost exclusively. What keyword tool are you using? Just G’s?

I thought that was the theme you used when I saw it in the wordpress library. It is so simple and clean. I like it too.

I will be posting about my keyword tool soon. It is a product I purchased and wanted to try it out before I started referring traffic to them. I am going to clean house on this site with the offers and focus on just one or two products that I am actually using. I am not saying that products like phpbay is not a good product but it does not seem right for me to tell people to use it when I don’t. Our situation is alittle different because we can code with the API and many people can not.

Cool, I’ll be looking forward to that. I’ve actually started using phpBay a bit. Not too bad. I’m only using it to display 3 auctions though per post. I’ve just started using my “super” content provider here and results are going well. My current EPC for the last 2 days is .74!!!!!

Wow 74 cents is good. My EPC usually hangs around 15 – 25 cents. What is the “super” content provider? I would like to hear more details on that. Maybe you can reply back or do a post on your blog. I noticed you have not been posting much lately.

I am curious as to why all my domains recently got indexed really fast but this one, http://www.sweaterdryingrack.org, did not? It is the only dot org domain that I own. Could the org part slow down the indexing? I would not think so… Any thoughts?

There it is now… in the number 9 spot. Not to shabby for doing nothing more then throwing up a pretty fast WordPress site.
