Todays EPN Niche Site

I just launched a Vintage Acoustic Guitar niche site today. It is not completely updated yet but close enough to let everyone see it. I plan on testing some automatic posting of eBay auctions on this wordpress site. I should have that up in running in a few days. Basically it will look for new auctions using the rss feed and place a new post if it locates one. I am going to use a CRON job to schedule the task to be done every hour. So in theory I could have a new post up every hour if a new auction was created within that hour for my choosen keywords. I am currently testing this with WP-o-Matic but am having a little trouble with the CRON job. It is kicking off but not performing the task I want it to. Should be able to figure that out soon, I hope.

    I got the CRON job issue all worked out. Now my site checks in with eBay every 15 minutes and looks for new auctions based on my selected keywords. I think this is damn cool! If it finds a new auction a new post is created and then I throw some images onto the end to fill in the page. Not exactly great content but my site will get many more pages indexed and hopefully more traffic and targetted clicks to eBay.

    Now to start setting up a bunch of these new WordPress sites. I am also making the change over to .com instead of .info. I think I have a better chance of not getting de-indexed with a .com from what I have been reading. It is worth the extra money for that extra chance.
